Learn and Grow Preschool

We are so excited to be able to offer Learn and Grow Preschool at Colonial Church. Our programs runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from September to May. We are open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A child develops mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.

We are committed to providing biblically based, age-appropriate experiences to allow each child to progress in these areas at his/her own level of ability while enjoying feelings of success. This is primarily done through hands-on activities in learning centers (art, dramatic play, music, science/nature, puppets, finger plays, rhymes and group time) and positive Christ-like role modeling of the staff.
Because we are a Christian Preschool, Bible stories, age-appropriate truths and verses with scripture memorization are  also used throughout the week.

We believe this is a great ministry opportunity, and look forward to having your child come Learn and Grow with us!

Registration begins on Sunday, March 6th and classes will be closed as they fill to capacity and families will be directed to a waiting list.  The monthly fee for Learn & Grow is $145 per child. Learn & Grow families can proceed with quick and easy online registration right here on this web-site. The child is officially enrolled when the form is completed and the registration fee of $75 has been paid.

Children must be 1 year old by September 1, 2011 to register.

Our teaching staff is dedicated to making the Learn and Grow ministry a positive learning experience for preschoolers. Our classrooms for children are arranged into play-learning centers. Children are able to make choices and participate in small group activities.

We have a well planned curriculum, which provides a teaching topic. The activities are organized around topics, using learning centers that include art, dramatic play, music, science/nature, fine motor skills, listening skills, cognitive skills, finger plays, puppets, rhymes and group time. The daily schedule also includes both vigorous and quiet indoor activities and playground time. Children will always bring something home, either in hand, heart or mind. Because we are a Christian Preschool, Bible stories and thoughts are used throughout the week.
