Current Series: “hip hop hooray-Jesus wants to be my friend forever”

Hip, hip, hooray! We are kicking off a celebration that will last all month because Jesus is alive,
and He wants to be our friend forever. All month long, our little Colonial Kids will be learning this verse from the Bible: “I have called you friends” (John 15:15 NIV). Jesus—the Son of God—loves us so much that He wants to be our friend forever! And that is definitely something to cheer about.

Every child needs to know that Jesus loves us so much that He died, came back to life, and is preparing a special place for us. As we celebrate Jesus, let’s remember to pray for children and their families. Pray that each child will know that Jesus calls them “friend.” Pray that parents and caregivers know that Jesus is always with them as they share the good news with their child. Jesus loves us, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever! Hip, hip, hooray!
